BIOGRAPHY

As he begins what will surely become a world class career as a professional singer, tenor Vladimir Maric performs extensively in the Los Angeles and New York areas in opera, concert and recital.

Mr. Maric studied with Marian Bodnar at California State University, Long Beach, where he received a BM in Vocal Performance. As a student he took on many leading roles including Rodolfo in La Bohème, Alfredo in La Traviata, Tonio in La Fille du Regiment, and Ferrando in Così fan tutte. He has also sung the roles of Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor and Little Bat in Susannah with Los Angeles Repertory Opera.

An accomplished concert soloist, he is highly regarded for his performances of diverse works from Bach to Britten, Händel to Honegger.

Mr. Maric has toured throughout Germany multiple times under the direction of Maestro Helmuth Rilling. He appears regularly as soloist with the Bach Collegium San Diego and other distinguished early music groups.

He now resides in New York where he studies with vocal pedagogue Neil Semer.
